Koch Institute holds its first poster session this afternoon

The Koch Institute is holding its first poster session this afternoon from 4–6 p.m.

There will be 9 posters in total, focusing mainly on genetics. Majors represented include 7, 9, and 20, and all but one of the presenters has a research position at the Koch Institute.

Hamsika Chandrasekar ’13, Nikita Consul ’13, Mark Kalinich ’13, and Priyanka Saha ’14 have been working on putting this event together since last fall.

“There are so many undergraduate researchers at the Koch Institute, many of whom put hours and hours of time into lab and sometimes don’t get a chance to speak up about their work or get recognized,” said Chandrasekar, who pitched the idea to Koch Institute’s Committee for Community Life last fall.

The poster session is open to the public.
